Denny’s Grilled Cheese Cheese Grillz

For years, the Denny’s social comments section was a battlefield of super-fans demanding the return of the cult-classic Fried Cheese Melt. When we finally gave in, we needed to do something that honored the obsession.

That’s why we partnered with celebrity jeweler Gaby Elan, and turned the menu item into a status symbol: The Grilled Cheese Cheese Grillz.

People asked for it

So we got to work

The plan was to first tease the return of the Fried Cheese Melt with a cryptic video featuring the grillz (Don’t mind the AI typos)

Then, once the cat was out of the bag, we replace the grillz with the actual Fried Cheese Melt.

These custom, diamond-encrusted gold fronts were sent exclusively to the fans who harassed us the most, serving as both a dripping piece of custom jewelry and a literal golden ticket for lifetime access to the melt they fought so hard to save.
