Hey, I’m Fernando Carrion. I’ve worked at some great agencies, including DAVID, Johannes Leonardo, Anomaly, DDB Chicago, and FCB NY. Today, I’m at GALE.
WHAT I DO↴
WHAT I DO FOR MY BOSS
I’ll take things off your plate and make your life easier. I’ll use my experience and bandwidth to make sure as few problems as possible reach you. Through clear communication and common sense, I’ll make sure at least part of everyone’s agendas are met. In our 1:1s, you’ll get periodic reports on how the team is doing, where we can improve, and what opportunities I see.
WHAT I DO FOR THE ACCOUNT
Once an account becomes mine, it becomes my obsession. I’ll know everything about it—what’s on the website, what people say on the internet, on Reddit, the legends, the lore, and most importantly, the opportunities to grow the business.
WHAT I DO FOR THE CLIENTS
Client management isn’t just for account executives. It’s about learning what kind of communication each client needs. Some stick to email. Some call you on a Sunday with wild thoughts. I’ll learn their objectives, agendas, ideas, and business plans—and then find the intersection between their goals and ours.
WHAT I DO FOR THE WORK
Relentless passion and tireless stamina define my approach. Whether in strategy, ideation, development, or production, I’ll always bring solutions, fresh angles, and ideas to push the work further. I’ll have as many hard conversations as necessary and explore every possibility that makes sense—all while keeping a clear POV, a strong concept, sharp instincts, and refined taste.
WHAT I DO FOR THE TEAM
Danny Meyer, of Union Square Hospitality, says every one of his most successful restaurant teams started with a happy dugout. Advertising works the same way. Every team I’ve led has performed better once I’ve taken charge—through crystal-clear communication, high standards, rituals, traditions, candor, and trust.
WHAT I DO FOR MYSELF
Above all, I love four things: mentorship, beautiful work, community, and money. I can do without one, but I strive for all four. Mentorship, because it’s how we give back to an industry that’s given us so much. Beautiful work, because as creatives it’s our calling to bring our vision to life. Community, because when we connect and care for each other, we create the conditions for beautiful work. And money for Labubus.
